I was commission by Wine Australia, an Australian Government body that promotes and regulates Australian wine exports to overseas markets. The project lasted two years, where I travelled to most of Australia’s wine regions. The brief was to bring a new and honest look at what makes Australian wine so unique. Having grown up in country Queensland, I was in my element photographing the winemakers, the wineries, the surrounding landscape and the winemaking process itself. The result is a suite of timeless cohesive images that have a distinctly Australian feel.
